Thu, 22 November 2007 Shhhhh! We know we aren't suppose to put out a show for another week,
but Karen and I just could not stay away. We originally intended a
small show to tide the Vanguard followers for a week, but we found just
too much goodness and carried the show on for a whopping 1 hour and 32
minutes! In addition to our ramblings we have the very good fortune to
have Beau Turkey give us his honest opinion of the game -- find his
audio diary tacked on to the back of this special episode.

Wed, 7 November 2007 This week in the Voyages of Vanguard, Karen and Troy talk about the new
Producer's Letter, Ranger changes, Khal optimizations, Halloween
treats, and offers several shoutouts to several listeners. Troy also
informs the listeners of a much needed vacation, letting everyone know
that for the next two weeks there will be no show. Even at the start of
their vacation, Troy and Karen hint at some special shows that may fill
the gap during the next couple of weeks.

Mon, 29 October 2007 Along the way, Troy uses his character Pidglet to thwart and rib Karen
as much as he can. Karen and Troy start the show with a series of
shout-outs to the guys who post in the forums, then lead into a great
letter from Varka on DPS and how it may not be as easy as knowing which
weapon is the best. Following the discussion on weapons and Damage Per
Second, the two talk about the fires in southern California and some
various news events. Troy is upset this week with continued
performance issues and Karen tries to calm him down, but in the end
both agree that stability issues can be the undoing to the MMO. At the
end of the show, Troy interviews Razadine that has been absent for some
time from the show.

and additions to content that the patch introduced. The two then talk

series of shout-outs, the status of VoV friends network, and Vanguard
news. They then sink into the basement and ramble on about the music
they listen to while playing the game. Troy has pitiful taste in music

bit better one must wonder how sane she is listening to children
sing-along songs. Karen talks about some cool dungeons, and finally
the two end by talking about their blogs.

Tue, 25 September 2007 ![]() From the dark and narrow slums of Khal, where one can find anything for sale ... including one's soul. To broken rocky cliffs of Kojan, stormy and windswept, more than one ship finding its final fate Ending
in the tumultuous twisting pathway from Kaons Rush, past broken rapids
of white water, dizzying rushing waterfalls, ending in the torpid black
swamp known for the cries of anguish and shouts of despair. This week's show Troy has the great fortune to interview Jaye Wizziefingers again, and they talk about the really cool and awesome things in Vanguard. The conversation goes a bit long, since they were having so much fun talking Vanguard. In response, Troy postpones the Highlight of the Healer Classes to next week and cuts his other features short. Tue, 18 September 2007 From the ancient stone vaulted arches and bridges of Thelaseen where even the cloying mist that shrouds the primordial columns of grey, basalt mark their age in millennia. To the stormy plateau of the Gardens of Xia Liu where thunder rolls across the heavens like waves crash along the jagged rock strewn cliffs of Martok Ending in the isle of Garuzamut where something is awakening, a life force that is so evil that the skies darken at high noon, where the rivers flow with ichor dredged up from some deep well within the forgotten Peninsula, and the adventurers blood turn ice cold in their veins! This week Troy has the great honor to sit down with Jaye Wizziefingers and talk seriously about Vanguard. He follows the lengthy discussion with his Shout Outs to friends, the Voyages of Vanguard Friend's Network; and Rumors, Tips, and Bugs on Vanguard. Troy then has an email he talks about and continues with his 2nd of 4 part special on the Offensive Fighters of the Game.
